Beetel unveils 'Magiq' tablet at Rs 9999

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company, which is into manufacturing and distribution of telecom and allied products, today announced the launch of Beetel Magiq, an Android 2.2 tablet for the Indian market.

The new tablet which is priced at Rs. 9999, has customized applications to attract Indian customers, said a press release.

The Beetel Magiq with sim calling feature has a 7.0” WVGA screen, 2 MP front and rear camera and 8GB internal memory which is expandable to 16 GB, added Beetel. The device which has a 2200 mAh battery, supports WiFi and 3G and the tablet is supported by a 1 Ghz processor.

Also, the Android Market in this Beetel tablet offers accessibility to android applications for the customers.

While unveiling the product, Vinod Sawhny, executive director and CEO of Beetel Teletech Limited, said this tablet has been designed looking at the technology needs of the Indian customers.

“Our tablet is not only about affordability but also about aspirational features which were previously available in the high-end devices and not within the reach of the majority of Indian customers,” he said.
