Beetel enters tablet market with Magiq Glide

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company and one of India's leading manufacturers and distributor of telecom and allied products, today launched a new tablet ''Magiq Glide'', after the successful launch of Magiq and Magiq II tablets in India, said a press release.

The new tablet, which runs on android 2.2 Froyo platform, incorporates a capacitive touch screen and attractive design. The tablet is now available in India at an MRP of Rs. 11,999.

The Magiq Glide with sim calling feature has a 7.0'' WVGA screen, 2MP front and rear camera and 8GB internal memory, which is expandable to 16GB.

The device, which has a 2200mAh battery for long battery life supports WiFi and 3G. Magiq Glide is supported by a 1Ghz processor for faster processing speed. The android market in Magiq Glide offers accessibility to a unique world of android applications for the customers.

While unveiling the product, Mr. Vinod Sawhny—executive director and CEO, Beetel Teletech Limited, said, ''The Magiq Glide is the latest addition to our successful Magiq range of tablets, which has been highly appreciated by the Indian consumers. After an extensive market research and keeping in mind the feedback received from our customers on our previous products we have come up with the Magiq Glide. The new tablet has all the features available in our previous products, which our customers liked and additionally we have added a capacitive touch screen to enrich the touch experience.''
