Bay Talkitec gets $2.5-m funding

CHENNAI, INDIA: Bay Talkitec Ltd, which specializes in media convergence solutions for fixed line and wireless network, has raised $2.5 million from the venture capital firm, NEA-Indo US ventures.

The investment will enable the company to further deploy integrated audio and video services in the VAS segment for mobile operators in India and worldwide, starting with South East Asia.

“This funding will help us deploy our audio and video services in a single box and add new innovative applications, which will be our value proposition to the Mobile Carriers worldwide for increasing their ARPU,” said Arunan, joint managing director of Bay Talkitec.
