BANGALORE, INDIA: eBay India, an online marketplace, today unveiled the eBay India Census Guide, designed to provide an in-depth view of the online buying and selling patterns among Indians.
The census analyzes the online behavior amongst 28 states, 6 union territories and Top 100 e Commerce cities in India.
The top 5- e-Commerce hubs are Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.
Karnataka has over 195 wired location and among the category of metro cities Bangalore stands fourth.
The census revealed the shopping habits of Bangaloreans. The list includes charity products, magic tricks, furniture and gadgets etc.

He added that according to the eBay India census, e-Commerce has become a mainstream with over 2421 cities had online transactions in 2007. The e-Commerce helps in bridging inefficiencies and has brought out trade between the metros and B&C class cities.
