Krafton has announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Early Access for players in India via the Google Play Store. The option, available on a first-come-first-serve basis, is available on Google Play Store. The company has suggested that due to the heavy numbers, it will make available more slots frequently throughout the day on the same link. Thus, if you face an issue that the beta testing is full, try again after a while. Further, users can carry over their progress and in-app purchases in the final version when it comes.

When the final app comes on the Google Play Store, you will receive an update to the BGMI app if you already have it installed on your device. If you don't have the Battlegrounds Mobile India app installed, download it on Google Play. It can take a while for you to receive the update. You can leave the Battlegrounds Mobile India Early Access or the testing program at any time. You can switch to the public version of the app if that's available. To switch to the public version, just uninstall the testing version. Then, when the app is available for the public, install the public version on Google Play.

As of now, there have been no official details on the release of the iOS version of the game.

Few Things You Need to Know before registering for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Early Access

If you are among the lucky few who got early access to the BGMI, log in via Facebook, Twitter or Google Play. The next option will allow you to transfer your saved data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI. Although Battlegrounds Mobile India allows you to log in via Facebook, Twitter, and Google Play, you can only transfer data if you have had it Facebook or Twitter. Reports suggest that you can do this till December 31.

The login methods also have changed a little; there are a few disclaimers and warnings when you log in. BGMI will require players to log in using their phone numbers and authenticate via OTP. One phone number can have upto 10 accounts only. Alternately, instead of "Killed" the game will show "Finished" for players who will be killed in the game. Along with this, the colour of the blood in the game is also different. Instead of red, gamers can choose between Light Green, Deep Green and Light Yellow.
