Base Info Mgmt to tap SMBs

MUMBAI: Base Information Management (BIM), a solutions provider specializing

in enterprise wide integrated solutions, is looking at forging alliances with

systems integrators (SIs) and IT consultants with domain expertise for marketing

its extended enterprise applications (EEA).

BIM's range of EEA products and services include ITM, an ERP suite,

ProInsight, a business intelligence tool and mobile computing solutions. The

idea of joining hands with SIs is to aggressively target the corporate and SMB

segment.

Until recently, the company has been providing solutions directly to

industries segments like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilizers, oil, textiles

and transport to market their products.

BIM director Nilay Sharma said, “We are upbeat about the potential of ERP

According to him, BIM has over eight years of expertise in providing

enterprise-wide integrated solutions to the Indian corporate. "We have

developed a solution, which meets the specific needs of the Indian industry. The

solutions were evolved after 25,000 man-days investment in the design and

testing of the products," said Sharma.

BIM claims to use cutting edge tools to evolve solutions that become native

to the client environment. BIM products are Web-enabled and support e-commerce.

The solutions are scalable and flexible. "It integrates the unique work

culture and business practices of the organization providing with a competitive

advantage," he added.
