Making the Barracuda Spam Firewall available on AWS is the next step in expanding the Barracuda security suite into the cloud, complementing our network security and web application security offerings available today as well."

"We are pleased that Barracuda is bringing their dedicated anti-spam solution to AWS Marketplace," said Terry Hanold, VP Cloud Commerce, Amazon Web Services, Inc. "As more customers migrate their email infrastructure to AWS, their ability to easily find, evaluate and deploy security solutions from AWS Marketplace becomes even more important."

The Barracuda Spam Firewall includes best-of-breed spam and virus blocking, data protection, DoS prevention, email continuity, encryption, and policy management-at one affordable price. As new email security threats emerge, the Barracuda Spam Firewall is updated automatically through Barracuda's subscription services with new capabilities for long-term protection.

Pricing and Availability

The Barracuda Spam Firewall in AWS Marketplace is available today both fee-based on an hourly basis directly through AWS Marketplace or through the "Bring Your Own License" (BYOL) model. Customers can purchase Barracuda Spam Firewall licenses through the BYOL model through traditional Barracuda channel partners starting at list price $1,999 USD in North America for a one-year subscription and customers then use that license to provision the application in AWS. International pricing varies by region.
