BARC Recruitment 2021: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai invites applications from interested students for the award of Junior Research Fellowships. The last date for submission of applications is 31st March 2021. All the selected candidates will register for PhD in Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI a deemed to be University of Department of Atomic Energy). The JRF will be offered in these areas - Physical, Chemical and Biological/Life Sciences.

Who can apply to BARC Recruitment 2021?

Candidates who are 28 years old as on the last date for receipt of application can apply to the post. Age relaxation of upto 3 years for OBC applicants, 5 years for SC-ST applicants and 10 years for PWD applicants is available.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of 60% aggregate in BSc and 55% aggregate in MSc from a recognized University. Further, candidates those who have completed and awaiting the final results of MSc degree may also apply. Additionally, candidates ought to have appeared and successfully cleared at least one of the following qualifying examinations for an interview at BARC, Mumbai.

- JEST

- ICMR-JRF

- ICAR-JRF

- DBT-JRB Biotechnology Eligibility Test

- GATE Score 2019 or 2020 in Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences or Biotechnology

At the time of application, candidates should clearly indicate the details of the qualifying examinations for consideration of the application. They must also submit the proof at the time of interview. Further, they will have to submit relevant certificates to this effect at the time of joining the centre in percentage form.

Those who are in employment under any Central-State Govt or Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations or Local Govt etc. should also submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.

How to apply for BARC Recruitment 2021?

Application

Eligible candidates are required to apply online only on BARC Recruitment portal by 31st March 2021. Besides, BARC-Mumbai had extended the date from January 15 to March 31.

Application Fee

The application fee is INR 500, payable at the time of submission of online application. Further, the centre has exempted the application fee for Women, SC-ST and PwD candidates. Mode of payment of the Application Fee is only through Online.
