New Update

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Dell India, India's leading end-to-end technology solutions provider, has announced the winner of the much talked about ‘Achieve with Dell' engagement program. The program was a part of the Dell Consumer Personal Achievement campaign launched in the second quarter of FY 14.

As part of this initiative, Dell invited its consumers to share stories of personal success and achievements aided by inspiring use of technology, on the campaign microsite AchievewithDell. After receiving over 550 consumer stories, the winning story was unanimously announced to be the ‘Most Inspiring Story.' The winning entry has been awarded a Dell Inspiron laptop for sharing his story to inspire other users.

The winner, Vinod Suthar is a college student in Bangalore. A simple boy from a conventional family in Rajasthan, Suthar was welcomed by what can only be termed as a culture shock when he landed in Bangalore to pursue his education. But shock turned quickly to intrigue as his peers introduced him to the world of clubbing music, with its diverse beats and depth.

While he showed great inclination for beats and the new brand of music he was experiencing, he did not understand the technology associated with it. It is at this point that he was inspired to use his Inspiron laptop to familiarize him with the various types of beats, the science behind sound reproduction of treble and bass and the gamut of jargon associated with music.

Teaching himself how to mix music on virtual softwares, Vinod is now a self-taught DJ who plays in some of the best clubs in Bangalore. He claims that the reason for this success can only be attributed to technology, adding that when he didn't find a lot of recognition, he used the power of social media to make his talent known.
