Bangalore IT.com to achieve 100% booking

BANGALORE: Bangalore IT.COM '99, Asia’s largest IT

exhibition, is on course to achieve 100 per cent booking. Scheduled to be held

from November 1 to November 5, the exhibition has attracted some of the largest

companies in each segment. These include Microsoft, Infosys, Phillips software

and Digital in the Software Solutions pavilion, Aptech, in Education, IBM,

Satyam Computers, Citibank and Dell Computers in E-Commerce, Mantra Online,

Epson in Home, APC, LG Systems and VSNL in Infrastructure, and Pentafour for

ERP. The other participants include HMT, ITI, Bae HAL, Robert Bosch, Krone, DSQ,

HP and India Satcom.

"We wanted to ensure the participation of the entire

Indian IT community at Bangalore IT.COM, and we are pleased that we are well on

our way to achieving that goal", said Government of Karnataka Information

Technology Secretary Sanjoy Das Gupta,

With less than twenty days to go before the exhibition gets

underway, preparations are on in full swing. Special care is being taken to

provide a non-stop power supply with sufficient backup facilities. To ensure

smooth movement of visitors, shuttle services are being organized within

Electronic City to the exhibition site to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister,

Shri Atal Behari Vajpaye.
