Banasthali Vidyapith invites StartUps in HealthTech for 'Corporate Innovation Program'

AIC Banasthali Vidyapith in association with National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings) a CK Birla Group Company is organizing a 'Corporate Innovation Program'. Further, it is inviting innovative startups who want opportunities to scale up through corporate strategic partnerships. The program is designed to cater to MedTech and HealthTech startups in terms of investment, scalability of customer base, validating PoC and entering to new markets.

Eligibility Criteria of the program

If you are an innovative startup in the MedTech or HealthTech space; are working on your PoC/MVP or have implemented similar innovative solutions; Bnasthali invites you to join the program. Further, the program is open for all startups, however, Banasthali will prefer women startups.

Problem Statement

The solution will have to develop an affordable all-in-one remotely monitored health Kiosk for initial health parameter assessment. The Kiosk could have digital auscultation, temperature measurement, blood pressure apart from basic parameters. Although it must not be limited to only the above parameters. The target market for Kiosk would be rural India. Hence, the product needs to be robust and telemetry. The primary purpose of this Kiosk is to help doctors and not provide immediate diagnostic and prescription.

Benefits of the program

The selected startup will get a chance to receive Seed funding support from the corporate for transforming the PoC/ MVP into a working prototype or for final implementation of the product/solution.

Further, the startup will have the opportunity to scale the solution across Rajasthan. They will get active mentoring support from the corporate to build the PoC/MVP. Banasthali will also have soft-landing support to implement the solution in close coordination with corporate.

Also, the program duration is 3 months, which they might extend as per requirement. The startups will further have access to world-class labs and huge network at Banasthali.

Timeline of the program

10th - 31st August 2020 Call for Applications

1st - 6th Sept. 2020 Initial Shortlisting, followed by an online interview

7th - 13th Sept. 2020 Second round of shortlisting & Pitch presentations

20th Sept. 2020 Program starts for selected startup
