Channel partners in Chandigarh lifted the ban on Rashi products and restarted billing with the disti.

“First IT Forum took the initiative to put a stop to the on-going issue. We held a meeting with Ram Pansari, Manager of Rashi Peripherals in Chandigarh and came to a conclusion. Rashi admitted to their unfair moves and has agreed to practice fair business policies in future. Dealers in Chandigarh are satisfied with the results of the meeting and have restarted business dealings with Rashi,” said Sanjeev Walia, a key member of First IT Forum.

Commenting on the resolution of the issue, Suresh Pansari, MD, Rashi Peripherals said, “Through mutual agreement, the matter has been resolved. The issues were not only from one side but from both the sides. However, it is final solved and we are happy about it.”

Sulalit Gupta from Global Systems added that the issue had been amicably resolved and the partners dealing in Rashi products are happy to restart business with them. "The issue of exclusivity has also been resolved and Rashi has promised for fair and transparent business practices in future, in Chandigarh market," Gupta said.

It was a month back when First IT Forum had stopped dealing with Rashi Peripherals and had imposed a ban in the region on the grounds that the distributor was practicing unfair price policy in Chandigarh in comparison to Ludhiana market. Also, the dealers had complaints on the issue of exclusivity and frictions with Ram Pansari.
