'Badnaam Munni' endorses Taiwan ICT brands

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Known for her flamboyance in Dabang's 'Munni badnaam hui' song, Malaika Arora Khan endorsed some of the Taiwan ICT brands in New Delhi on Thursday, that include Asus, BenQ, MSI and D-Link.

The bold and beautiful Bollywood diva attended the event, Taiwan Excellence Campaign, organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to woo Indian consumers with various Taiwanse products.

“Technology has become part of my life, and I am married to a man who is tech-savvy,” she said. Malaika said that consumers should look at the reliable, innovative and worthy products today.

Paul Chen, director, TAITRA, said they would continue to reach out to customers with various products campaigns in 2011. Taiwan has a total of 758 electronic companies that are listed on its stock exchange.

The largest institutional buyers of Taiwanese ICT products include Apple, Dell, Sony, HP and Verizon. Taiwan Excellence Campaign 2011 will continue to engage consumers and business customers through experience zones at Delhi and Mumbai airports, shopping malls and social media platforms.

The campaign will promote 24 Taiwanese international brands with their lifestyle products. These companies include Asus, ADATA, BenQ, Gigabyte, MSI, D-Link, Genius and ZyXEL among others. Taiwan has been recently ranked number one in 11 categories of ICT products.
