B2K Corp ties up with ICRA

BANGALORE: Karnataka's ex-IT Secretary, Vivek Kulkarni promoted BPO firm B2K Corp has forged an alliance with the country's premier credit rating agency, ICRA. Together they plan to offer investment research to investment banks, stock exchanges and other financial intermediaries, under the service brand-Brickwork.



Brickwork's menu of offerings include investment research, sector research, industry analysis, fixed income, equity and credit research. It would also offers accounts receivable, payables and back office processing and helps firms implement Sarbanes Oxley internal controls.



Vivek Kulkarni, Chairman and CEO of Bangalore based B2K Corp, said, "This service is targeted at the overseas financial markets, primarily the US and Europe. Australia and Asia Pacific will be considered at a later stage."



According to the agreement, B2K Corp would provide front-end marketing, back end support and infrastructure, while the erstwhile Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India (ICRA) will offer the domain expertise.



B2K Corp boasts a headcount of 250 people, while ICRA counts 195 on its rolls.
