Azzurri wins ‘Managed Services Provider of the Year’ at CRN Awards 2013

LONDON, ENGLAND: Azzurri Communications, the leading provider of managed services, was last night awarded ‘Managed Services Provider of the Year' at the prestigious CRN Channel Awards 2013.

Azzurri were chosen as the winner out of the nine finalist companies in its category based on a set of refined criteria by category expert judges. The award recognises the company's exceptional achievements for its customers in the managed services industry over the past year, in particular for its ground-breaking unified communications project for the waste management company Biffa, where Azzurri will deliver savings of £2 million over three years (a 30 percent reduction in spend).

In addition to the cost savings, the Azzurri solution is considered to be one of the most complex unified communications implementations carried out in 2013, as it covers 6,500 employees across 200 locations, including many in remote portacabins and landfill sites, plus 4,500 employees working, not at desks, but in bin lorries.
