Aztecsoft Q4 net down 53 per cent

BANGALORE, INDIA: Software engineering services provider Aztecsoft Limited’s profit after tax for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 dipped by 53.9 per cent at Rs 3.15 crore, as compared to Rs 6.75 crore posted for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The company’s revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 68.71 crore when compared to Rs 62.25 crore posted for corresponding quarter previous year.

Its annual consolidated profit after tax for the financial year 07-08 fell from Rs 38.61 crore to Rs 17.38 crore.

Annual revenue dipped to Rs 253 crore from Rs 261 crore posted for the previous financial year.

“The year witnessed a complete strategic repositioning of the Company - we re-aligned our processes, updated our services, enhanced our technology offering, restructured the organization, upgraded our brand image, and delivered superior value to our customers,” said Samir Bodas, CEO of Aztecsoft.
