BANGALORE: Aztec Software and Technology Services has launched J2CS, its
application tool that converts Java to C#. Aztec indigenously developed J2CS
application that is built using Microsoft's .NET platform. J2CS is a
cross-language compiler that converts a client’s existing Java Applications to
C#.
"Aztec's in-depth technology know-how, wide domain expertise together
with global delivery models have made J2CS application tool highly effective.
The J2CS tool has been built to take advantage of .NET's superior functionality
and allow developers port Java code to C# effortlessly." said, Aztec
Software’s, Country Head and Senior VP, Global Delivery, Chinnikrishna Kommi.
J2CS converts a Java source tree to equivalent C# source. This tool gives
developers the flexibility of working on the Java platform or to effortlessly
shift over to the .NET platform by converting to C#. J2CS supports a wide
variety of transformations like mapping keyword and language constructs, global
regular expression "find and replace", Java Developer Kit (JDK) 1.3
support, etc. This application addresses the porting issues that arise due to
the massive JDK libraries that come along with the Java language. J2CS enables
organizations to expand their base to include .NET-based customers by converting
their Java code rather than re-design and re-implement it in C#. J2CS is
currently in beta stage and available for download from <http://www.aztecsoft.com/j2cs>/.
