This never-ending list is currently also seeing typically Indian phrases like ‘Yeh andar ki baat hain’, and ‘What’s your good name?’ to certain words like Dicky, and ice gola, that are understood only in India.

Tweeters also tried to link up 'Indianess’ to their respective jobs. For instance, an advertising professional listed ‘Cute pugs that build an entire brand’ while a software engineer chose not to forget that ‘Tech Support’ is quite Indian in nature.

What is interesting to note is also the fact that the online youth of the country have not forgotten the likes of Mahatma Gandhi, democracy and the freedom movement, but have very modern notions of India that range from ‘Outsourcing’ to “Wi fi”.

The impromptu movement is best summed up in AnjaanRJ’s words, “Wonders how #AwesomeIndianThings started trending!! And Obviously is very happy and believes this is why India is Awesome! :)

Jai ho, India.
