Avnet Intel Atom development tool for embedded

PHOENIX, USA: The Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas business region of Avnet Inc. has released the Intel D945GCLF Convenience Kit. Currently available to customers throughout North America, it is the first board level Intel Architecture, featuring an Atom processor, development tool created by Avnet for embedded applications.

The Intel D945GCLF Convenience Kit allows users to rapidly write and test software around an Intel embedded architecture platform. For use in medical, industrial, transportation, kiosk, security, test and measurement, defense and instrumentation applications, the kit comes ready to use and fully equipped with motherboard, memory, storage, operating system and power supply in a convenient pre-assembled chassis.

Embedded engineers, system architects, hardware design and software engineers looking to speed their time to market will benefit from the complete solution the Intel D945GCLF Convenience Kit offers.
