AVM and Spirit Nipuna enter into a JV

CHENNAI: AVM Productions and Spirit Media (subsidiary of Suresh Productions and Rama Naidu Studios) announced a joint venture (JV) to create a film processing, digital intermediate (DI) and visual effects facility in Chennai.

In the start, 50 visual effects professionals and technicians will be employed and the numbers will be doubled by end of 2006.

This JV would also bring in the "Kodak-kit chemistry negative processing technology" imported from New Zealand for the first time in India.

Spirit-Nipuna has successfully completed their first Tamil project AVM's 'Tirupati.'
