The two firms already guarantee interoperability between their two technologies based on engineering and customer tests between Aventail's SSL VPN and Radware's Application Switch platforms.

Now, the two firms are matching a cluster of up to six Aventail EX-1500 appliances with Radware WSD, its load balancing solution, for large-scale, multi-site deployments, supporting up to 50,000 users or more.

With this joint solution, both the companies are targeting large enterprises requiring technologies for remote access and application security. Radware and Aventail's solution provides an industry-leading global SSL VPN and a competitive alternative to the “all-in-one” integrated security appliances that often compromise performance, reliability or scalability.
