Avaya picks TCS for IT Outsourcing

BANGALORE, INDIA: Avaya GlobalConnect, a provider of business communications, announced on Tuesday that it has selected Tata Consultancy Services as a technology partner for its total IT outsourcing needs.

Under this multi-year deal, TCS would assume responsibility of AGC’s internal IT operations, said a press release.

Anil Nair, managing director, Avaya GlobalConnect said, “We are happy to have chosen TCS as partner. For us, scalability and cost-control are essential to tap the enormous potential of India market, expand customer base and sustain our leadership position.

He added that outsourcing their IT systems to TCS would allow them invest the accruing savings towards growth and customer responsiveness.
