Lee Chong-Win will be the new managing director, ASEAN for Avaya. He will be taking over the charge from Ray Teske, who will now assume the leadership of service provider and global alliances business across the Asia Pacific geography for the company. Lee was before leading the customer experience management business in APAC

Teske will be working predominantly with APAC service providers to bring to market cloud-based communication capabilities and solutions for businesses across the region. This will span unified communications, contact center, video and networking solutions ‘as a service' and will ensure companies wanting to leverage cloud-based communications solutions have access to the same technology and innovation as customers with on-premises equipment, says a release.

Lee will be responsible to drive growth with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam while growing Avaya's business and presence in Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.

These appointments are effective immediately. Teske and Lee continue to be based in Bangkok and Singapore, respectively.
