Autodesk appoints Manufacturing Head

MUMBAI, INDIA: Autodesk has appointed Varun Gadhok as head of its Manufacturing (MFG) business for India and SAARC.

In his new role Gadhok will be responsible for driving Autodesk’s growth and increasing adoption of its offerings in the manufacturing sector in India. With the country’s strong focus to develop the manufacturing economy, growth of SMEs and policy initiatives such as Make in India that aims to make Indian economy competitive globally, manufacturing is a key business and growth opportunity for Autodesk in India.

Pradeep Nair, Managing Director, Autodesk, India and SAARC, said, “India is a key market for our manufacturing business and Varun’s rich experience in strategic planning, sales, and business development will help us make a significant impact in the manufacturing economy. An industry veteran, he brings more than 18 years of experience in Technical, Sales and Design roles in the manufacturing sector. In his previous role, he was responsible for driving Fujitsu India’s sales and business growth in automotive sector as the Country Head of Automotive Business and also as Regional Sales Director.
