LONDON: According to recent reports, Audio Precision (AP) has opened an office in the UK to enable customer support for its audio analyzer instruments and also to help the sales in allocation that is one of the top audio design markets in the world. AP is a provider of audio test and measurement instruments. It is expected that customers in the UK and Ireland will get to experience the immediate benefits of lower prices and faster access to the company’s audio test expertise.

The new Audio Precision UK will be headed by James Kelly, a British test and measurement engineer who has more than 20 years’ experience of designing custom automated test solutions for a variety of manufacturers in the audio industry, mainly using AP audio analyzers. Kelly previously held positions at ARCAM (where he helped to develop the first functional 'bed of nails' testing facilities using AP analysers), TAG McLaren Audio, and International Audio Group (IAG) where he served as Head of Engineering in both their facilities at Cambridgeshire as well as Shenzhen, China.

Apart from pushing new sales in the UK, Mr. Kelly will also be in charge of providing support for existing UK-based customers and also for developing test solutions for them if required. Audio Precision UK Ltd will be based in Cambridgeshire, England and will handle all AP customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
