ASUS shines at CES with six innovations awards

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Innovation is the king at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas. Quite literally, every product showcased there is manifestation of futuristic thinking and creativity.

Being part of it is Asus, which claims that six of its products are being selected for CES 2012 innovations Design and Engineering Awards honoree program.

Stating that persistent perfection has resulted in such wide recognition for its products, Asus said the products that got wide recognition include ASUS Padfone, Ee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 and Xonar Essence One.

Selected in the wireless handsets, the ASUS Padfone with Android OS offers users unparalleled mobile productivity and flexibility. The Padfone smartphone, with its capacitive multi-touch display, provides email and myriad of built-in apps when on the move.

Under the personal electronics is the new Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201. With its quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 10.1” Super IPS+ display and a sleek 8.3mm-thin spun metal case, the Transformer Prime is an eminently portable and powerful Android tablet.

Selected for an honoree award in the Audio Components category, the Xonar Essence One is an external combined hi-fi digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that delivers the world’s first 8x symmetrical upsampling and 120dB signal-to-noise (SNR) for ultra high-quality music reproduction.

This apart, three ASUS products have been chosen as honorees in the computer hardware and  components category.
