NEW DELHI, INDIA: Aspiring Minds, a job credentialing platform has announced the opening of its first R&D facility in Gurgaon. With expansions into China, US and the Middle East on the radar, Aspiring Minds will invest over USD 6 million in the next three years in research and technology innovation.

The company aims to take a step ahead in increasing the focus towards assessment technology which as such doesn’t receive as much funding as compared to training and other related verticals. Aspiring Minds is a leader in employability credentialing and job matching working with over 2 million job seekers and 1100 corporations annually.

The new facility looks at hiring over 100 technologists and researchers from IIT's and other top notch colleges to build the next generation of scalable assessment technology.

“Aspiring Minds aims at creating employability solutions for corporations across all genres. The state of the art technology which the new R&D facility will develop will help us digitize the whole process of hiring in these new countries where we are planning to enter. Through this facility, we are also looking at nurturing local talent,” said Varun Aggarwal, co-founder and CTO, Aspiring Minds.

Based in India, with U.S. headquarters in Redwood City, California, Aspiring Minds serves more than 1,100 corporations, and 4,000 higher education institutions.
