Aspire achieves platinum partner status for Renesas

BANGALORE, INDIA: Calsoft (California Software Company Limited), a software product development company, announced recently that its subsidiary Aspire Communications has become the first partner of US semiconductor company Renesas in India to achieve platinum partner status Renesas Partner Program.

A press release said that Aspire Communications has designed two products on Renesas - Media controller for the education sector, which is being deployed in the U.S. schools and classrooms, and BLDC motor control system for ceiling fan application, which is being deployed in India.

Aspire Communications has been working with Renesas Singapore, Renesas Americas and Renesas Taiwan, the release added.

According to Sandeep Gandhi, vice president - Sales Embedded Division at Calsoft, the company will now be able to offer more product designs on Renesas chipsets. “We are delighted to have achieved this partnership status. This will help us give our customers high technology support using Renesas microcontrollers,” he said.

Totsuka San, deputy managing director of Renesas, Singapore, said Aspire has made a significant contribution to the Renesas IDH program.

“Being one of the first IDH members of Renesas Singapore, Aspire has already introduced two products in the market. We assure a very good support to Aspire to enable them to roll out more products in the market on our platforms,” he added.
