Ashis is new country manager for Brocade India

NEW DELHI. INDIA: Brocade, provider of data center networking solutions and services that enable organizations to manage their most vital information assets, has appointed new leader for the company’s operation in India -  Ashis Guha as country manager.

He will be responsible for driving Brocade’s business development, marketing and sales initiatives, and will report to Gerald Penaflor, Regional Sales Director, South Asia-Pacific and Korea. 

As India is a critical market for Brocade, the company expects that data centers will continue to grow dramatically in tandem with the increase of enterprises in the country and many of them will be powered by Brocade’s next-generation data center products and technologies that help the business save energy and maximize cost efficiency.

Ashis has over 14 years of industry experience in areas that include direct sales, channel management, business development and marketing. Prior to his role at Brocade,  Ashis was the General Manager of Sun Microsystems, India, where he was responsible for Sun’s storage business and strategy in the northern and eastern regions in the country.
