ARRIS joins MoCA board of directors

SAN RAMON, USA: The Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) has announced that ARRIS Group Inc. has joined its Board of Directors.

ARRIS has been a member of MoCA since 2008. The company assumes the Board seat as a result of its acquisition of Motorola Mobility's Home Business.

"ARRIS has brought together the industry's leading portfolio of operator and consumer solutions on a global scale, and MoCA technology is a vital component of our product strategy," said Carol Ansley, senior director IP Engineering, ARRIS, who will represent the company on the Board. "Our innovation in broadband and content is driving the future of TV and the smart, simple connected home. We look forward to building that future as member of MoCA's Board of Directors."
