BANGALORE: Aries Softech Solutions proposes to organise the Bangalore IT show
at Dubai, during the annual Dubai shopping festival in the coming month of
March. The proposed IT show is to be held on the March 23-25, 2002, at the AL
MASSA-The Sheraton Dubai Hotel. This festival is supposed to attract 2.5 million
visitors and transactions worth around $17 billion is made.
Speaking on the occasion, Aries director, marketing K P R Murthy said,
"Aries Softech has strong presence in Middle East and we want to leverage
this to organise this event in the interest of Indian IT companies. We propose
to have 500 sq.ft of ballroom in the hotel for the participating companies and
would like to shortlist 40 confirmed participants. "
He explained that, " Dubai was out choice as we saw a huge unexploited
market potential, more so and accessible market that is fast growing. Also this
provide a large mileage to the enterprises to explore new markets and new
opportunities in this part of the world instead of focussing only on the US
market. This would also provide fillip to the SMEs on their marketing
initiatives and to acquire new customers".
Apart from organizing the show at Dubai, they are also organizing at various
IT exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong and east Europe.
Aries technical director, H S Ramachandra says, "We want to have a
technology showcase of IT strengths of Bangalore and its service to cater to the
global technology needs. Participating companies can expect to interface with
world-class customers, and customers can interface world class technology
ranging from CRM, SCM,ERP and Networking to Security Management Technologies. We
want to make this show an annual feature".
