ARCHIVEjinni to be DB2, SQL Server friendly

HYDERABAD: Solix Technologies’ flagship product ARCHIVEjinni, that supports Oracle relational database management system (RDBMS), is poised to become DB2 and SQL Server friendly.

"The development and testing is in progress. It is likely to come up by the end of this month,’’ said Kishore Gadiraju, senior director, Product Engineering, Solix.

Oracle, IBM and Microsoft are strategic partners of Solix Technologies. Following Oracle and SQL In January IBM had launched its new version - DB2 Express C following the launch of latest versions of Oracle 10g and SQL Server last year.

Others who are also strategic partners of Solix are Google, SAP, HP, Sun Microsystems, EMC, Wipro Technologies and Sierra Atlantic.

ARCHIVEjinni is a unified web-based platform that manages data coming from any source. The data archiving product ARCHIVEjinni allows simultaneous access to production and archived data through various applications. ARCHIVEjinni supports operating systems like AIX, DEC, UNIX, HP/UX, Linux, Solaris/Sun OS, Windows NT/2000.

Solix has joined the Google enterprise professional program in April.
