Aptech, VSNL tie up for online courses

NEW DELHI: Aptech Ltd. has announced a strategic alliance with VSNL to
provide the VSNL Internet account holders the option for training on Aptech
online courses at a special promotional price.

A M Thimmiya, vice president and head, Aptech corporate training division,
and Hardev Singh, acting director (development), VSNL, signed a Memorandum of
Agreement (MoA) signifying the occasion.

Announcing the MoA, Thimmiya said, "The e-learning market in India has
been seeing consistent growth rates and the tie-up will help reach wide
audiences, of over 6 lakh VSNL Internet subscribers making ‘Anytime Anywhere’
learning a reality." Industry estimates put the market size at close to $20
million.

The courses are designed to be user-friendly, also providing personal help
desks to aid subscribers successfully complete courses.
