Aptech Q3 net rises 68.6%

MUMBAI: Computer education and software firm Aptech Ltd. on Monday reported a

68.6 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter of 2000 over the same

period last year, in line with analysts' expectations.

The firm said net profit rose to Rs 25.35 crore from Rs 15.03 crore during

the corresponding quarter in 1999.

Its total revenue rose to Rs 157 crore compared to Rs 126 crore last year.

Aptech shares were trading Rs 8 higher at Rs 367.10 on the Bombay exchange in

morning deals.
