Aptech, CSI join hands to promote IT literacy

NEW DELHI: IT training provider Aptech Ltd and Computer Society of India (CSI), an association of IT professionals in India, have forged an alliance to promote the field of IT and IT literacy through the year 2003-04.







Speaking on the alliance, Aptech CEO and MD Pramod Khera said, "Under the aegis of this alliance, Aptech will sponsor and promote various CSI programs, such as mass literacy drives throughout the country, student activities, young IT Professional awards and man power surveys on the IT industry. Apart from that, publishing of journals, reports, and newsletters and student seminars will be conducted throughout the country."







At the signing ceremony, CSI President AK Pathak said, "CSI is the largest association of IT professionals in India and is delighted to enter into alliance with leading IT training organization, Aptech. CSI has promoted ‘IT for masses program’ recently to promote IT in India. We hope to reach to a wide expanse of populace across boundaries and age groups through a slew of activities that will be conducted through the year, under this agreement between the two organizations."
