BANGALORE, INDIA: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to deem a person to eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes 1 to 8.

The online applications can be submitted from August 1 to August 30 through www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in.

However, please do read the rules clearly before submitting your applications. The examination fees for general/OBC category is Rs. 500 for one paper and Rs. 800 for two papers, whereas for SC/ST/differently abled Category it is Rs. 250 for one paper and Rs. 400 for two papers.
