The passionate followers of Apple products are in for a real treat, as the company CEO Tim Cook announced at its recently concluded annual WWDC developer conference in San Francisco that the tenth version of iOS will be its biggest release ever. The new iOS brings notable improvements to the Photos app. It also expands the HomeKit framework with a new app called 'Home'.

For those who find the Siri application of little use, there's good news on that front too. Apple has finally opened its Siri voice assistant to third-party developers, letting them integrate its functionality into their apps. Most significantly, now even MacBook users can say hello to Siri, and the search results can be used directly in apps. The keyboard can also get help from Siri now, and can give intelligent suggestions. Users can now instruct Siri to play specific videos on YouTube.

The voice assistant can show files as well as manage them. Siri can even send iMessages and authenticate Apple Pay purchases on Macs. macOS Sierra will be available to customers this fall, and is available to developers starting June 14.

Among other announcements, Apple also said that its Unix-based graphical interface operating systems--OS X--will now be called macOS. One of the major highlights of the new OS is auto unlock. The feature unlocks a Mac and logs in a user with an iPhone or Apple Watch (paired with the Mac) in proximity. Apple has also enhanced the typical ‘copy and paste’ option.

With the new Universal Clipboard, whatever you copy on your iPhone will be available on the Mac as well. The company also announced Apple Pay, which will be available on Macs.

Apple has also ensured that there is a minimal lag in using apps on its Watch, with the introduction of the new watchOS 3. Apple claims that the new OS launch is seven times faster. The watchOS is also built to track the fitness of wheelchair users better. A fun new 'Scribble’ feature allows users to draw textual characters on the Watch which are automatically converted to text for faster texting from the watch itself.

As part of the new update to the OS, Sling TV is now available on Apple TV. Apple also introduced a new Remote app for iOS that mirrors the physical Apple TV remote and includes better functionality and voice commands. With Live Tune-in, users can just speak the name of a live TV channel app and it will start broadcasting live sports instantly.

For the fitness enthusiasts there's something more besides the runner app, and heart rate app. Apple has introduced a new app called Breathe, which is dedicated for breathing exercises.
