Apple’s big Worldwide Developers Conference can start anytime now. But even before the official commencement, we already have some major piece of information from the conference.

Spotted by developer Steven Troughton-Smith late Sunday, a listing for Files appeared in the "Utilities" section of the App Store that has since been pulled. The listing didn’t have many details, but the app apparently requires the as-yet unannounced iOS 11 and its icon resembled those used in macOS.

The new app suggests Apple's revamped take on file management in the iOS ecosystem. Apple introduced iCloud Drive, its cloud-based storage system, to handle some forms of data but this new feature could to give more granular options for managing files and on-device storage that may be comparable to what Android already offers and what people are accustomed to on PCs and laptops.

The official WWDC keynote will shed more light on the same.

Apple could also be adding an App Store entry for the Activity App, as per another Stroughton Smith discovery, meaning that it too will be deletable.

Keep watching this space for more updates from WWDC.
