Apple unveils 128GB version of 4th-generation iPad

NEW DELHI, INDIA: As was being expected, Apple has unveiled a 128GB variant of the 4th generation iPad with Retina Display. The tablet has been priced at Rs. 49,900 for the Wi-Fi only variant and Rs. 56,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular options. According to Apple, the new option will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, says a report on NDTV.

Apple unveiled the 4th-generation iPad along with the iPad mini at an event held in San Jose, California in October last year. Apple's iPad was available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions so far.

Some of the features of the 4th generation iPad are retina display, 9.7-inch LED-backlit multi-touch display with IPS technology, 2048x1536 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi), fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, dual-core A6X chip with quad-core graphics, voice over screen reader, assistive touch interface for adaptive accessories, and so on.
