AppLabs receives ISO27001

HYDERABAD, INDIA: AppLabs today announced that it has been received the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification.

AppLabs is the first independent testing company to get the BS ISO/IEC 27001:2005 accreditation.

“This certification comes as a testament to the stringent standards and processes that we follow to ensure information security throughout the organization. This certification will add to our customers and partners confidence in our ability to implement and rigorously meet the demands of information security and a trusted partner of first choice," said Sashi Reddy, CEO, AppLabs.

“Today’s business environment demands that, the highest degree of information security, is maintained throughout the organization. The BS ISO/IEC 27001:2005 is an endorsement of our practices and processes in Information Security Management,” said Adam Ripley, senior vice president, marketing, AppLabs.

ISO27001 is the new international standard for Information Security Management System (ISMS). BSI Management Systems India Private Limited conducted the audit for the certification. BSI audited AppLabs facilities in India on all critical functions.

Evaluated was done for the effectiveness in implementation of information security policies and procedures to protect customers and organization’s confidential information and Intellectual Property.
