This partnership would extend AppLabs’ performance testing capability. In addition, both companies would be able to leverage testing expertise, hardware, storage and bandwidth for performance related testing projects, said a press release.

The partnership would also provide clients of both organizations access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and resources for their performance-based IT projects. This would also expand AppLabs’ technology footprint by adding a new data center in the mid-western United States and would help Platform Lab grow their consultancy capabilities on a global level, the release added.

“AppLabs is enthused to be working with Platform Lab and is looking forward to a beneficial relationship. This partnership is a true win for both companies,” said Scott Andress, VP and global head, Alliances and Service Lines, AppLabs.

"AppLabs is well known for their expertise in numerous IT test protocols; Platform Lab looks forward to offering this capability to our clients as well as augmenting AppLabs infrastructure with our on-demand hardware and considerable bandwidth resources,” said Steve Gruetter, director, Platform Lab.

He said the partnership would have a competitive advantage for the client bases of both the companies.
