AppLabs, InnaPhase tie up on lab info solutions

HYDERABAD: AppLabs has entered into a strategic alliance with US-based InnaPhase Corporation, provider of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) technology solutions to the life sciences industry. The alliance would allow AppLabs to sell and distribute the Watson LIMS product to the pharmaceutical, biotech and bulk drug organizations in India.



AppLabs has its offshore development center based in Hyderabad and the marketing of these products would be taken care by the Hyderabad center.



The Watson LIMS system is specifically designed to support DMPK/Bio-analytical studies in drug development while ensuring regulatory compliance with the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 guidance on electronic records and signatures. Watson has an established track record of accelerating bio-analysis, sample management and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical drug development.

By leveraging its offshore development center based in Hyderabad, India, AppLabs is able to provide cost-effective IT services in software testing and development. AppLabs is ISO 9001 certified and is currently implementing process improvements to become CMM Level 5 compliant.
