Android monetization platform Metaps partners Kakao

TOKYO, JAPAN: Metaps Inc. (CEO: Katsuaki Sato, hereafter "Metaps") and KAKAO Corporation (Co-CEOs: JB Lee & Sirgoo Lee, hereafter "Kakao") announced that they have entered into a new business partnership agreement for the Korean market.

Since commencing their KakaoTalk service in March 2010, Kakao claims that it has more than 110 million registered users from 230 countries (13 languages) on its mobile messaging application and global mobile social platform.

Furthermore, the Android device market share in South Korea has increased to over 80 per cent of all smartphone OS, and through the alliance between Metaps, a monetization platform provider for Android developers around the world, KakaoGame developers will receive increased backing for their monetization and promotion needs.

Through this new partnership, Metaps will also be able to reach out to the numerous developers of big hit titles in Korea, and further contribute to the exciting Korean market.

Metaps provides a specialized platform for app developers to monetize their Android apps, and supports the needs of developers through a one stop solution that attracts customers, increases engagement, generates revenue, and even exchange user traffic through its network.

Since commencing service from August 2011, Metaps has primarily focused on expanding its business in Asia, while supporting and providing consultation to app developers mostly from Japan, South Korea, China, South East Asia as well as North America. Currently, applications with metaps SDKs integrated have amassed to 500 million downloads, and through this partnership with Kakao, even more growth can be expected in the future.
