BANGALORE: Bangalore-based AmSoft Information Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. has plans to go global and is on a major expansion drive. The company plans to open seven new offices/subsidiary companies in London, Germany, Australia, USA, and South Africa by the middle of next year. The company also aims at doubling the existing number of its employees from 75 to 150 by year-end. It also aims at carving a niche for itself in the field of Inter-net based system integration.

The new centers abroad will first operate as marketing offices and later turned into technical hubs depending on business dynamics of the country. The company will also recruit professionals for its overseas offices. To fund its expansion plans, the company will partly plough back its profits and raise a debt from Exim Bank.

Amsoft is a 51:49 joint venture between the Denver (USA)-based i(Structures) Inc. and Bangalore based MS Ramaiah group. Since its inception two years ago, Amsoft was operating as an outsourcing company supporting the i(Structures) customers in the US for data centers. The company has plans to become a full-fledged Information Technology company addressing markets worldwide.

"We do not want to be a One More Outsourcing Company, which is why we are concentrating on our strengths in Niche technology areas, with a Global perspective", says HR Jairam, CEO, Amsoft Information Services India Pvt. Ltd.
