Ampersand judged fastest growing software firm in India

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based Ampersand Software Applications Ltd. was judged by

STPI, as the fastest growing software company in India. Ampersand was ranked

first among 1,100 small and medium companies. The award was received by

Ampersand Software managing director Narasimhan Mandyam from Tamil Nadu Chief

Minister M Karunanidhi and Union Minister for Information Technology Pramod

Mahajan at an event held in Chennai recently on the occasion of 10th annual day

of STPI.

"Over the last few years, we have had a clearly defined strategy of

targeting the B2B eCommerce area. Our single-minded focus on this area has

helped fuel our growth. Today one hundred per cent of our business comes from

Internet solutions development. This award validates our strategy and points out

that we are headed in the right direction," said Mandyam, on receiving the

award. Ampersand is an Internet solutions company that builds custom eCommerce

solutions for Internet and extranet applications.
