HTG involves the development of an ASP-based Web enabled three-tier solution

by Ampersand for Axium. Ampersand has worked with Axium for the past two years

in enhancing and building solutions in the domains of Payroll and Accounting for

the Entertainment industry.

Axium’s customers include several major movie production companies and

studios that have extremely complex, customized compensation contracts with

movie stars, producers and directors.

AXIUM customers pay for the services of their various personnel based on

actual time spent on a production and these are typically expended in off site

locations, studios, etc. The HTG application uses the Internet to provide inputs

on time, payment terms, time-sheet schedules from remote locations, based on

which the gross amount payable to the employees is calculated.

Ampersand’s solution revolves around Microsoft technologies and the

proposed technical architecture enables the Axium to integrate other accounting

services seamlessly with the payroll application modules.

Ampersand is developing the solution around Windows 2000-Advanced Server,

Microsoft IIS5.0, MTS2.0 Web/Transaction Servers with multi-layer VB Components

and Active Server Pages (ASP) on a SQL Server 2000 database.
