BANGALORE, INDIA: AMD, a computing and graphics solution provider and HP, a IT services provider, today announced the immediate addition of “Shanghai” 45nm Quad-Core AMD Opteron processor to the family of HP Workstations.
The addition of AMD processors will allow HP’s xw9400 workstation offer the engineering advantages along with new features such as low power consumption with higher performance, 80 per cent power supply from the Opeteron processor line, said a press release.

The “Shanghai” 45nm Quad-Core AMD Opteron processor based xw9400 Workstations are available for shipment in India with immediate effect, the release said.
