AMD hosts ‘High Flyers’ channel meet

BENGALURU, INDIA: AMD announced the completion of its annual ‘High Flyers’ Challenge. The company hosted its annual channel meet at Gold Coast, Australia for channel partners who accomplished their prescribed goals and in turn became AMD ‘High Flyers.’

The three-day annual event recognized the role that channel partners played in bringing AMD products to mainstream Indian markets, and in further expanding the market to small towns and cities in India. 25 channel partners were acknowledged and rewarded for their contribution during the event.

The year long ‘High Flyers’ challenge was conceptualized to recognize AMD’s valued channel partners who have made significant contributions to the growth of AMD’s business in India.

“AMD’s channel partners are the cornerstones of our channel business strategy. They have contributed exceptionally to the growth of AMD’s business in the country and this recognition is a token of our appreciation to their efforts,” said Ramkumar Subramanian, VP—Sales and Marketing, AMD India at the event.

On the occasion, Sandip Naik, Head—Channel Sales and Distribution, AMD India said, “Moving ahead, we think our strong relationships with the channel partners will pave the way for continued success in this important business segment.
