The road show, that has just begun will reach out to 60 non-metro cities and towns across the country, to educate consumers about AMD's technology.

The road show features customized demonstrations dedicated to showcase the versatile power of AMD's processor technologies and AMD's solution for home/office computing. The road shows will be conducted in IT Markets, and commercial and residential areas to reach out to a large section of the target markets. Customers will be able to experience two to three solutions - addressing low-end to high-end applications, and better understand the benefits of using AMD for their day to day computing and digital lifestyle needs.

Haresh Bharia, Director, Channel Sales, AMD India said "It is our endeavor to reach out to our partners and customers alike and provide them an opportunity to experience AMD's technology and offer them choices to improve their efficiency and productivity. AMD currently addresses 30 towns and cities, either with a direct presence or addressed through our partners. With this initiative we expect to expand the addressable market considerably and allow the benefits of technology to reach the fast emerging markets in India. These 60 towns have been chosen based on an in-depth research to ascertain market potential and gap in technology availability."

AMD, with the help of its channel partners intends to reach the benefits of technology adoption to non-metro markets, by offering first hand experience of AMD's customer centric products and innovations.
