Amazon acquires 'shed' to build data centre

BANGALORE, INDIA: Web hosting service provider Amazon has reportedly bought supermarket chain Tesco's 22,539sqm big storage facility at Greenhills Industrial Estate in Dublin for an undisclosed amount, reports The Independent.

The report says that Amazon is setting up data centres in the Greenhills property as well as in two Dublin northside buildings including one at the Snughborough Industrial Estate in Ballycoolin.
